About the Role
This is a full-time permanent position responsible for handling essential bookkeeping and administrative duties. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare BAS statements, financial reports, and ensure compliance with ATO regulations
- Manage invoices, payments, and receipts
- Perform general office tasks including data entry, correspondence, and filing
- Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management
- Liaise with external accountants, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Support HR administration including employee records and payroll
- Help with stock control and inventory records
- Provide administrative support to management
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar administrative role
- Strong knowledge of MYOB and bookkeeping processes
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
- Payroll and HR administration experience is an advantage
- A qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desirable but not essential
