Skills Australia is commencing a review of the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) to be used for general skilled migration purposes. As part of this review we are seeking stakeholder input and evidence to help inform the composition of the SOL.



The new SOL took effect from 1 July 2010 and replaced previous occupations lists such as the Critical Skills List and the Migration Occupations in Demand List. This first review of the SOL will provide an early assessment of the new list. Future reviews will be undertaken on an annual basis in November/ December.

这个 New SOL  就是 2010 年7月1日 以后引用至今的   skill list . 它是 New  的，那是相对于 沿用了 N  年的 Migration Occupations in Demand Lis， 还有  原有的 Critical Skills List

工党推出这个 新的  skill list  是要推翻 原政府沿用多年而没有合理“效益” 的  Migration Occupations in Demand Lis。 而且提出，这个 skill list  要跟着市场需求而修订。而这一切新举动，都根据 skill australia 的汇报数据为依据。所以 自从 2010  年7月 1号 的 new  SOL  公布以后，就会有个定期的 review 从而修正 SOL。 这个市场情报的收集日期定在每年年底11 -12 月。

但由于这一次review  针对 新政府下的新 SOL， 而且新SOL推出才半年不到，所以 就有修饰词 “ This first” “ an early assessment ” 。 当 review  材料收集以后，数据分析过后，skill australia 就会提交新的 review  结果给 移民局。 至于DIAC 什么时候 修订 SOL  那就不好说了。毕竟还是第一次。

疑点1：如果是现在的SOL，为什么用NEW来修饰
疑点2：如果是将要使用的新SOL，为什么却采用过去时态，并且时间是2010年7月1日？

看了下mechanical engineer的需求

2006到2008绝对是黄金时代。
2009至今就在走下坡路了，主要是新职位太少，而澳洲机械工程师的平均年龄在37.2岁，也就是说还有20年左右才会退休。。。

Mechanical的同学们抓紧啊，搞不好这个职位就被DIAC从SOL上给Review没了。。。

我最希望他们做事情严谨一点,
如果能定下来一个流程, 比如SOL或者PT都是说好每年某个时间review一次的, 那也可以啊, 从目的上来看也合理
最怕每年一个新办法
比如如果上半年草案出来, 出来之后与7/1新政之间再冻结申请....
准备申请的人实在是措手不及..
好吧说的就是我自己....

没错啊，我的意思是这次review不会定稿，也不会具有法律意义。最大可能是明年3月份草案，然后6月定稿，7.1后和新政配套使用。
这样就形成一套完整的移民政策。

你理解的有点偏差。
这是SA开始启动下一次SOL列表的前期动作——信息收集。收集完信息就要准备草案了，然后二月份-四月份就会推出草案，之后由部长根据草案宣布新的SOL列表。
这个玩意很厉害的，已经开始装弹了。
